Renew Gen completed an initial load assessment estimating 2100 kWh a day used by KCC. ~88/Hr or 65/Hr at night @ 110/Hr during the day.
A generator was installed at KCC. There are now 2 generators, each one is 275 kva; which equals 220 kWh can be produced per hour; double the estimated daytime consumption. One is new, brand new. The purchase price was $55,000. Value is higher. The older one is valued at less. And the previous was was going to be sold after repair or for parts.
Cost:
kWh from Regideso is ~$0.07
kWh from generator is $0.50-0.70 depending on utilization and assuming 5 year depreciation
kWh from batteries and/or with solar is ~$0.15 +/- depending on configuration on design.
